End-to-end digital coaching platform CoachHub has raised $200 million in a Series C funding round led by Sofina and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from existing investors Molten Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank/SVB Capital, HV Capital, Signals Venture Capital, and Speedinvest. The latest round comes just eight months after its $80 Series B2 funding last September, and brings CoachHub's total funding to $330 million.
According to the company, the fresh funding will be used to scale its operations and drive its ongoing global expansion, with particular focus on the US. CoachHub has been expanding across Europe and the APAC region last year, including the acquisition of French digital coaching firm MoovOne and the coaching division of Austrian consultancy Klaiton, and recently opened a new APAC headquarters in Singapore.
The company also plans to hire more than 150 new employees worldwide. Its global headcount currently numbers around 850.
Yanni Pipilis, Managing Partner at SoftBank Investment Advisers, said that CoachHub's service model matches current trends in L&D. “The Learning and Development sector is witnessing strong secular trends toward the digitization and personalization of services," he predicted. "We are pleased to partner with Yannis and the CoachHub team to support their mission of democratizing coaching.”
CoachHub was founded in 2018 and is currently one of the largest global providers worldwide, with a market leader position in Europe.
