Ant Group appoints new regional head for Southeast Asia
Ant Group announced last week the appointment of Jia Hang as the Regional General Manager for Southeast Asia.
The newly created role extends Ant Group’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its talent and capability building in the region and its commitment to better support individuals and local and regional businesses, especially SMEs to ride the wave of the digital economy.
Etsy appoints Kim Seymour CHRO
Earlier this week, Etsy appointed Kim Seymour as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 26 April 2022.
Seymour joins Etsy from WW International, where she was Chief People Officer from March 2019. She has 25 years' experience in the profession, including a stint as Senior Vice President and HR Business Partner at American Express.
Webhelp appoints Francesca Zanisi Group Chief People Officer
Earlier this week, Customer experience management provider Webhelp has announced the appointment of Francesca Zanisi as Group Chief People Officer, effective since February. Based out of Webhelp's headquarters in Paris, she is responsible for the group’s talent management roadmap and strategy.
Zanisi joins Webhelp from adtech firm Criteo, where she was previously VP of Talent and Culture.
JLL appoints Laura Adams as the Chief Human Resources Officer
Real Estate company JLL has appointed Laura Adams as the CHRO and a member of the company’s Global Executive Board, effective July 1, 2022, earlier this week.
She has extensive experience in aligning people programs to business strategy and driving large-scale complex change and is a passionate advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion. She is based in Chicago.
DBS appoints new country CEO for China
Last week, DBS appointed Ginger Cheng, one of its veteran bankers, as its new China CEO, the bank announced on Wednesday.
Cheng is currently the deputy CEO of DBS China and the head of DBS' Institutional Banking Group (IBG) in China. He will take over on April 1st, subject to regulatory approval.
She takes over the role from Neil Ge, who will retire from the bank at the end of June.
Cisco ropes in Carl Solder as Chief Technology Officer for Australia & New Zealand
Last week, Cisco announced the appointment of thirty year industry veteran Carl Solder as the Chief Technology Officer. He will be taking over from the position vacated by Kevin Bloch, who left in July 2020 to start his own company.
Based in Perth, Solder will headline Cisco’s efforts in technology strategy and highlight the latest company innovations, with a strong customer focus to understand the needs and application of technology, the tech giant said in a statement.
