JLL New Zealand has announced the appointment of Ashley Bray as its new Director of Human Resources, effective September 16, 2024. Bray will take on the crucial role of overseeing the company’s HR functions, focusing on advancing its people-centric initiatives and aligning HR strategies with the broader business objectives.

In her new role, Bray will be responsible for ensuring that JLL’s people strategies foster an inclusive and equitable work environment. Her aim is to create a workplace where employees can thrive and significantly contribute to the company’s ongoing success. Bray’s appointment comes as part of JLL’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in New Zealand’s real estate sector and enhance its commitment to people and client experience.

Bray brings a wealth of experience in human resources, talent management, and organizational development to her new position. Before joining JLL, she held a significant role at Colliers NZ, where she joined in 2018 as the People and Performance Associate. During her tenure at Colliers NZ, Bray was pivotal in shaping and implementing comprehensive HR initiatives. Her contributions included driving recruitment strategies, performance management, learning and development programs, employee engagement, remuneration strategies, and inclusion programs.

Her career began in 2008 at Telstra, where she worked as a technical trainer. After three years, Bray transitioned to Virgin Australia in 2010, serving as a flight attendant. Her diverse background in customer service and training has provided her with a unique perspective on employee engagement and organizational development.

Bray’s appointment aligns with JLL’s ongoing efforts to lead in people and client experience, reinforcing its position as an employer of choice in New Zealand. Her role will be central to driving forward these values, ensuring that JLL not only remains competitive in the market but also continues to attract and retain top talent.

In a statement, Bray expressed her enthusiasm for joining JLL, highlighting her commitment to advancing the company’s HR strategies. “I am thrilled to be joining JLL New Zealand at such an exciting time,” Bray said. “My goal is to ensure that our people strategies not only support our business objectives but also create a work environment where every employee feels valued and empowered.”

JLL New Zealand Managing Director [Name], commented on Bray’s appointment, emphasizing the positive impact her experience will have on the company. “Ashley’s extensive experience and proven track record in HR make her an excellent addition to our team,” [Name] said. “We are confident that her leadership will play a key role in enhancing our HR functions and supporting our continued growth and success in the New Zealand market.”

As JLL New Zealand continues to expand its operations and strengthen its market presence, Bray’s leadership in HR will be instrumental in driving the company’s people strategies and fostering a positive organizational culture.
