Sam Altman foresees AI's profitable growth, but reminds us to prioritise ethics and transparency, so we don't end up with a world dominated by cheap intelligence.

Sam Altman, a renowned entrepreneur and expert in artificial intelligence, has expressed his belief in the profitable and ethical growth of AI. The remarks shed light on the promising future of AI and its potential to transform industries worldwide.

Altman, well-known for his successful ventures in the tech industry and his former role as the president of Y Combinator, a prestigious startup accelerator, emphasised the global demand for AI solutions. He highlighted how AI has become a critical tool for businesses and organisations looking to improve efficiency, optimise processes, and discover new opportunities.

Speaking at a recent event in Singapore, Altman stated: "We have reached a level where we have sophisticated languages and powerful computers that allow us to expand the scope of AI." And so, the demand for AI goes beyond the tech sector, with various industries recognising its immense value.

Altman also highlighted the swift and promising response of the market to the increasing demand for AI. Start-ups, established companies, and investors are actively investing in AI research and development, resulting in significant funding flowing into the sector.

Altman believes that this surge in investment will lead to rapid advancements in AI capabilities, propelling the technology forward and unlocking even more groundbreaking applications.
