Australia based staffing company People Infrastructure has announced that the company will officially be known as PeopleIn Limited. In an official communique, the company stated that this was initiated following the shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting held on 29 November 2021. 

Under the new name, the company describes itself as a diversified workforce management firm that delivers a wide range of services to Australian entities. The company operates primarily across four domains namely healthcare, community services, industrial services and information technology. 

Earlier in October, the firm also announced the appointment of Ross Thompson as its new Chief Executive Officer. Thompson joined the company from UK listed firm RPS where he was CEO of its Australia Asia Pacific business. As a leader in the industry, he comes with experience in driving growth and leading a large workforce.  

As PeopleIn has been expanding both in terms of leadership and business, the company also announced on December 1 that it has completed the acquisition of the GMT Group of companies, trading as GMT People. GMT Group of companies, trading as GMT People.  

GMT specialises in information technology (IT) hiring solutions across all the functions. It offers solutions to both contractual and permanent staff needs.
