In her new role, Gillian brings over three decades of experience encompassing strategic HR, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, culture, and employee relations.

Bravura Solutions, an Australian fin-tech company, has announced the appointment of Gillian Davie as its new Chief People Officer, with immediate effect. Gillian will be taking over responsibilities from Duncan Thomas, who stepped down from the role.

In her new role, Gillian brings over 30 years of experience across retail, IT, manufacturing, staffing, and BFSI sectors. She will lead the global People and Culture teams of the company to ensure strategic growth and to attract and retain top talent. Most recently, she served at AMP Limited as the Director of People and Culture for the last four years.

In her previous roles, Gillian worked with Yarno as the Advisory Board Member, NetComm Wireless as the Chief People Officer, MHIH Timber & Hardware as the Director of HR, Progressive Enterprises as the General Manager of HR, and Woolworths as the Group HR Operations & Remuneration Manager. Her core competencies include strategic HR, change management, talent management, succession planning, recruitment, payroll, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, culture change, and employee relations.

Welcoming Gillian to the executive board, Andrew Russell, Group CEO, and Managing Director, said, “Our people are one of our greatest assets, and Gillian is joining at a pivotal time for the organisation as we further look to embed a client and product-centric culture across our 1,300 employees spread across 15 offices globally. Having worked broadly across the technology and financial services sectors, both domestically and internationally, I’m confident Gillian will bring a fresh perspective to evolving our People & Culture strategy to deliver for our clients and drive growth for our organisation.”

I'm honoured to join such a fantastic group of people and can't wait to see what the future holds.”
