Aon plc has appointed Jennifer Richards as CEO of Asia Pacific, effective March 1. She takes over from Anne Corona, who has been named CEO of Enterprise Clients and Global Chief Commercial Officer.
In her new role, Richards will focus on strengthening Aon’s capabilities across the region, driving business growth, and delivering value to clients. She will also lead the execution of the firm’s 3x3 Plan, designed to accelerate expansion across all solution lines. Richards will report to Lori Goltermann, CEO of Regions, and will join Aon’s Executive Committee. She is set to relocate from Australia to Singapore in the coming months.
Richards has been with Aon for 13 years, playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategy and operations in Australia and beyond. Most recently, as Head of Australia, she strengthened client relationships, drove business growth, and embedded Aon’s strategic priorities across the market.
“The Asia Pacific region is critical to Aon’s long-term growth,” said Lori Goltermann. “Jennifer’s deep industry expertise, leadership mindset, and ability to build high-performing teams make her the right person to drive success in the region.”
Before joining Aon, Richards held senior leadership roles at AIG, overseeing its Financial Institutions and M&A businesses in North America. She also practiced corporate and securities law at Sidley Austin LLP in New York.
Richards is eager to take on the new challenge, emphasizing the opportunities that lie ahead for Aon in the region.
“I am excited to step into this role and collaborate with our talented teams across Asia Pacific. This is a region full of opportunity, and together, we will continue to help our clients navigate an increasingly complex business landscape,” she said.
As Aon sharpens its focus on risk, talent, and innovation, Richards’ leadership is expected to strengthen the firm’s market position and deepen client engagement in Asia Pacific.
