Ingram Micro has appointed Matt Miller as Director of Human Resources for Australia, bringing more than 20 years of global HR experience to the role.

Ingram Micro has appointed Matt Miller as Director of Human Resources for Australia, where he will oversee the company’s people strategy and HR organisation across the country.


Miller brings more than 20 years of HR experience spanning multiple industries, geographies and multinational organisations. In his new role, he will work closely with Ingram Micro’s Chief Country Executive and senior leadership team to align the company’s people strategy with business priorities and strengthen its HR organisation supporting Australian operations.


His remit will include building a high-performing, future-ready organisation, with a focus on workforce priorities, organisational capability, leadership, culture and talent.


15 years at Honeywell


Miller joins Ingram Micro after a 15-year career with Honeywell, where he most recently served as Regional HR Director for the Pacific region, overseeing Australia and New Zealand.


At Honeywell, he worked with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute people strategies aimed at supporting business performance and long-term growth.


Before Honeywell, Miller held HR roles with multinational organisations including CareFusion and Cardinal Health. His career has covered both generalist and specialist HR responsibilities across complex business environments.


Global HR experience


Miller’s experience spans the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific, giving him exposure to organisations operating across multiple markets.


His areas of expertise include HR strategy, organisational capability, people strategy, leadership, culture and talent. He has also led high-performing teams and worked on aligning workforce priorities with broader business objectives.


Miller holds an MBA with Excellence from AGSM at UNSW Business School and a double Bachelor of Science with Honours in International Business Administration and Human Resource Management, with a minor in Economics, from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.


He is a professional member of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) and a global member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
