Elon Musk treats 'hardcore' employees to bedrooms at Twitter HQ

CEO Elon Musk has fitted beds in Twitter's San Francisco headquarters. Reports suggest, one room has a queen size bed, a bedside table, two armchairs, and an orange carpet.

CEO Elon Musk is known to run his offices in the most unconventional ways. Now the billionaire has treated some Twitter employees to bedrooms at San Francisco headquarters.  

On Monday, employees found out that some office and conference rooms in the company's headquarters had bare mattresses and curtains inside. News publications like Insider and Forbes have confirmed the same.

A photo was obtained by Forbes, which showed a queen size bed, a wooden bedside table, a table lamp, two armchairs, and a bright orange carpet inside the room. 

While the total number of rooms converted into bedrooms is still unclear, one person with knowledge of the matter said there could be between four and eight bedrooms per floor. 

Meanwhile, Twitter has not revealed the reasons behind the new office bedrooms to employees. However, a person familiar with the development told that the beds were intended for staff working "hardcore" to use when they work overnight at the office as part of Musk's "Twitter 2.0," according to Forbes.
