Humanforce has introduced two AI-powered tools aimed at helping frontline employers strengthen workforce visibility, automate compliance training and reduce administrative workloads as labour shortages and retention challenges persist.

Frontline employers are facing mounting pressure to manage labour shortages, workforce turnover and increasingly complex compliance requirements, often with limited HR resources. Against this backdrop, Humanforce has expanded its workforce management platform with two artificial intelligence-driven solutions designed to improve workforce intelligence and automate learning.

The company announced the launch of Humanforce HR Analytics and Humanforce Learning, adding AI-native capabilities to its existing platform. According to Humanforce, the new tools are designed to help organisations identify workforce risks earlier, streamline compliance training and provide HR leaders with deeper workforce insights to support decision-making.

Frontline workforce challenges drive demand for smarter HR technology

The launch comes as many organisations continue to manage fragmented workforce data spread across multiple systems while relying on manual processes for assigning mandatory training and maintaining compliance records.

Humanforce said frontline employers are simultaneously dealing with:

  • Labour shortages
  • High workforce turnover
  • Growing compliance obligations
  • Employee retention challenges
  • Limited HR resources

According to research from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) cited by Humanforce:

  • More than 70% of jobs globally are frontline or deskless.
  • 86% of HR managers consider training critical to employee retention.
  • Compliance training remains one of the most labour-intensive HR processes for many organisations.

"Frontline organisations are under pressure to do more than fill shifts," said Clayton Pyne, Chief Executive Officer of Humanforce.

"They need to understand where people risks are emerging, keep teams compliant, and make development part of everyday workforce operations."

He said the new solutions are intended to give HR leaders "clearer visibility and more automated action" so they can spend less time managing data and more time making workforce decisions.

AI-powered analytics focuses on workforce risks

The first of the two products, Humanforce HR Analytics, has been developed to move workforce reporting beyond traditional retrospective analysis.

According to Humanforce, the platform continuously analyses workforce data using AI to identify trends, detect anomalies and flag emerging risks before they become operational issues. Key capabilities include:

  • AI-powered analysis of workforce data
  • Natural language queries for HR teams
  • AI-generated responses to workforce questions
  • Custom dashboards
  • Automated reporting
  • Threshold-based alerts

Pyne said organisations often wait for periodic reports before identifying workforce issues.

"Because AI is doing the analysis continuously, not periodically, organisations have more opportunity to address risks around compliance, retention, workforce planning and employee engagement before they become larger operational challenges."

Learning platform automates compliance training

Alongside workforce analytics, Humanforce Learning has been introduced to automate employee learning and compliance management.

According to the company, the platform integrates directly with Humanforce HR data and automatically assigns learning whenever workforce changes occur. Examples include:

  • New employee onboarding
  • Role changes
  • Internal transfers
  • Compliance renewal requirements

Training completion records are automatically linked to employee profiles, creating an audit trail while giving managers visibility into completed, overdue and upcoming learning activities.

"Training and compliance shouldn't rely on someone remembering to manually assign courses every time an employee changes roles or joins the business," Pyne said.

He added the approach helps organisations reduce administrative work while improving confidence employees remain qualified and compliant.

Bringing workforce intelligence and learning together

Humanforce said data generated through its learning platform feeds directly into Humanforce HR Analytics, allowing organisations to view compliance status alongside broader workforce metrics.

The company said this provides HR leaders with a more connected picture of:

  • Workforce capability
  • Organisational readiness
  • Compliance status
  • Skills development

According to Humanforce, combining workforce intelligence with automated learning is intended to reduce manual administration while helping employers respond more quickly to workforce challenges.

Expanding its workforce management platform

The launch reflects Humanforce's continued investment in technology designed for shift-based and frontline workforces.

Founded in 2002, the company said it serves 2,300 customers and is approaching one million employees under management across sectors including aged care, childcare, healthcare, retail, hospitality, local government and events.

Its operations span Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the Philippines and the United States.

The newly launched Humanforce HR Analytics and Humanforce Learning solutions are now available.
