Kristin Miller rejoins Macquarie as Global Head of Capability & Leadership Development
Kristin Miller has rejoined Macquarie as Global Head of Capability & Leadership Development, bringing over 28 years of HR and people leadership experience.
Kristin Miller has rejoined Macquarie as Global Head of Capability & Leadership Development, returning to the financial services group more than two decades after she first joined the organisation.
Miller brings more than 28 years of experience in human resources and people leadership, spanning capability and leadership development, talent management, people and culture and senior HR leadership across financial services and other sectors.
She previously spent more than five years at Macquarie, joining the organisation in 1998 as Senior Manager, Human Resources and remaining until 2003.
In her new role, Miller will focus on capability and leadership development at a global level, drawing on her experience across talent, organisational capability and people strategy.
Senior HR experience
Miller returns to Macquarie from Acenda, where she served as Chief People Officer for more than two and a half years.
Before that, she was Group Executive, People & Culture at Cbus Super Fund, with enterprise-level responsibility within Australia's superannuation sector.
Her earlier career also includes roles as Group Head of Human Resources at Noble Group in Hong Kong and General Manager at fibreHR in Melbourne.
Miller has also held several senior HR and talent leadership roles at BlackRock, where she spent more than six years across Asia Pacific.
Her roles at BlackRock included Head of HR for Investments, Risk, Product Management, China, Taiwan & Korea; Head of Talent Management APAC; Head of Human Resources, Australia; and Director, Human Resources.
Global financial services career
Her career also includes senior HR positions at AllianceBernstein, where she served as Regional Director of Human Resources, and Morgan Stanley, where she spent more than six years as Vice President, Human Resources.
Across these roles, Miller has worked across regional and global people strategies, talent management, organisational capability and HR leadership.
Her return to Macquarie brings her career full circle, with more than two decades of additional experience in people leadership since her first stint with the organisation.
