Abbott appoints Sriram Rajan as Director, Organization & Culture – APAC

Abbott has announced the appointment of Sriram Rajan as Director, Organization & Culture – APAC, effective January 2026. 

Rajan shared the update on LinkedIn, expressing his excitement about the new role and the opportunity to further strengthen people, culture and leadership capabilities across the region.

He joined Abbott in July 2025 as Director – Talent & Organization Consulting, India, and brings over 25 years of diverse experience spanning multiple industries and global markets.

Before joining Abbott, Rajan served as Global Director of Leadership Development at Novartis, where he led capability and leadership development initiatives across Novartis operations and global functions for nearly seven years. 

His career also includes leadership roles at SIG Group in the Middle East, Deloitte Consulting, Deutsche Bank, and HP, where he contributed to large-scale people strategy, organisational transformation, and culture development initiatives.

Over the years, Rajan has influenced organisations with workforces of over 35,000 employees, strengthening leadership pipelines, boosting employee engagement scores, and aligning people strategies with business outcomes. 

As a Performance and Leadership Coach, he shaped C-suite leadership and culture transformation, and is well recognised for pioneering digital and innovative people development practices and is a frequent keynote speaker at regional and global leadership forums.

Academically, Rajan holds a bachelor’s degree from Kirori Mal College, India, and an associate degree in talent management from The Wharton School. He is certified in MBTI, Situational Leadership, Coaching, Behavioral Event Interviewing, and Development/Assessment Centers.

With this appointment, Abbott strengthens its focus on advancing leadership excellence and nurturing a strong organizational culture across the APAC region.
