SATO appoints Leena Bhardwaj as Head of People and Culture for ANZ

SATO has appointed Leena Bhardwaj as Head of People and Culture for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), bringing around 17 years of human resources experience across employee lifecycle management, talent acquisition, organisational development and employee engagement.

Bhardwaj announced her appointment in a LinkedIn post, “I look forward to empowering employees, fostering collaboration, strengthening workplace culture and supporting the organisation’s continued growth and success.”

17 years of HR experience

Bhardwaj brings extensive experience across diverse corporate environments, with expertise spanning workforce planning, budgeting, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, employee retention and compensation and benefits.

Her experience also includes organisational development, policy implementation, employee surveys, grievance handling, coaching and counselling, competency mapping and career path development.

Focus on performance and development

Bhardwaj has experience managing the performance management system across enterprise and technology functions, covering key result area (KRA) setting, performance assessments, normalisation and promotion exercises.

Her professional background also includes organisational diagnosis and the design and facilitation of large-scale events and employee development initiatives. She has experience in meeting facilitation and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on building trust and encouraging participation across organisational levels.

In her new role at SATO, Bhardwaj has highlighted employee empowerment, collaboration and culture-building as priorities, alongside supporting the organisation’s growth across Australia and New Zealand.
