Publicis Groupe New Zealand has promoted Jayde Hill to general manager, people and culture, following eight years with the organisation.
Hill will lead the Groupe’s people and culture function in New Zealand, with responsibility for talent, capability, wellbeing and organisational development.
She joined Publicis Groupe in 2018 as its first dedicated people and culture hire in New Zealand and has since held several leadership roles. She most recently served as head of people and culture NZ.
Focus is on people strategy and career growth
Hill said, "I'm incredibly proud to take on this role and help shape the next phase of Publicis Groupe's people strategy. The success of any business ultimately comes down to its people. My focus will be on creating an environment where talented individuals can thrive, grow their careers and make a meaningful impact.”
“We have a strong culture, exceptional people and an exciting future ahead, and I'm looking forward to building on that momentum."
Grant said Hill’s progression also reflected the career opportunities the Groupe aims to provide its employees.
“Jayde's journey with Publicis Groupe is a strong example of the career growth and opportunities we strive to create across our agencies. Her appointment is a testament to the strength of the talent within our organisation, and we're excited to see her continue to lead and evolve our people strategy in NZ."
From building the function to leading its next phase
Pauly Grant, chief talent officer at Publicis Groupe ANZ and APAC said, "Jayde's promotion is very well deserved. Eight years ago, she joined Publicis Groupe as the first dedicated people and culture hire in New Zealand, and she has been instrumental in building the function from the ground up.”
She added, “Since then, she has helped shape the culture and people's experience that underpin our business today, supporting our teams through periods of growth and transformation.
She combines strong commercial acumen with genuine care for people, and has the trust and respect of teams and leaders across the Groupe,” Grant commented.
Hill brings international experience across talent acquisition, talent development and business partnering, having worked across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
During her career, she has focused on building high-performing teams and developing workplaces that support employee growth and performance.
