Mott MacDonald has appointed Lindsey Brown as growth director for Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, as the engineering and consultancy firm looks to expand its regional capabilities across key infrastructure markets.
Driving regional growth
Based in Australia, Brown will join Mott MacDonald’s regional leadership team and help shape and deliver its growth strategy across Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia.
Her remit will include strengthening client relationships, pursuit positioning, strategic recruitment, and organic and inorganic growth initiatives across the region.
Brown joins as Mott MacDonald continues to invest in priority sectors including defence, energy transition, water and transport. The company has also expanded its regional capabilities following the acquisition of Leed Engineering.

Experience across water and sustainability
Brown brings 20 years of experience spanning environmental sustainability, public policy and strategic leadership in the water sector across Australia and international markets.
She joins Mott MacDonald from GHD, where she most recently served as Australian water market leader. During her four-year tenure, she helped increase revenue through client-focused collaboration, according to Mott MacDonald.
Brown will also support the business as it delivers major regional projects, including Australia’s The Wave passenger rail line, Hong Kong’s Tsing Lung Bridge and Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 5.
