Chubb has appointed Jon Longmore as Country President of New Zealand, effective September 2026.
Based in Auckland, Longmore will lead the insurer’s general insurance business across Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal Lines and Accident & Health.
He will report to Chris Colahan, Country President, Australia and New Zealand (Acting).
Colahan said, “In his 15 years with Chubb, Jon has built a deep understanding of our business through leadership roles in underwriting, distribution and digital.
He has a strong track record of developing high-performing teams with a genuine commitment to client and broker service, and he is well-positioned to lead the continued growth of our New Zealand business.”
Longmore brings regional leadership experience
Longmore joined Chubb in 2011 and has held senior leadership roles across underwriting and distribution in Australia.
In 2018, he moved to Singapore as Head of Digital, Asia Pacific. He became Country President of Indonesia in 2020 before taking on the Country President role in Malaysia.
His latest appointment adds to Chubb’s leadership team in the Australia and New Zealand insurance market, with Longmore bringing experience across underwriting, digital, distribution and country operations.
