New South Wales to end remote work effective March 1

New South Wales (NSW) is ending the remote work setup effective March 1, as the Australian state sees a decline in the number of positive Covid-19 cases.

According to The Daily Mail report, NSW seeks that employees should be back to offices while the mandate on the masks within the office premises continues to prevail.

The report reads that  Premier Dominic Perrottet made remarks before a  roundtable of government this Friday in order to discuss the economic conditions of Sydney’s central districts.

"Bringing back workers to the city is a civic duty from which we will all derive benefit, socially and economically," Dominic said.

Dominic said that the event is expected to "inject confidence" among the people, clarifying that the country is gradually returning to a "more normal way of living."
