Quentin Kilian replaces Gil King as REIV's CEO

The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) will now be headed by Quentin Kilian, who is currently CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Northern Territory (REINT), a position he has held for the past 12 years.

Currently, Kilian works as CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Northern Territory (REINT), a position he has held for the past 12 years. Prior to REINT, Kilian has spent six years directing Asian relations and international trade for the Northern Territory Government between 2003 to 2009.

“Following a national search, we are delighted to have secured someone of Quentin’s caliber for this critical industry leadership role,” said Adam Docking, REIV President.

REIV was looking for someone with respect and influence in the sector, not only up north but also nationally, shared Docking.

Kilian believes that Victoria is highly-regarded on the national and international real estate stage, with the sector’s hard-working property professionals doing a tremendous job. However, he also agrees that there is much to do to ensure a better public policy and regulatory framework for all participants in the property industry during ever-changing market conditions and a sometimes complex operating environment.

Quentin will work closely with King over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition and work towards bringing in positive changes in the sector.
