Ausure appoints Amanda Theodosiou as new Learning and Development leader

Ausure appointed Amanda Theodosiou as its new Learning and Development Manager. With extensive experience in the insurance sector, Theodosiou has previously held significant business development roles with leading Australian insurers.

In an official statement, Scott McCarthy, CEO of Ausure, expressed enthusiasm about Theodosiou joining the team, highlighting her longstanding relationship with the firm.

"We are absolutely thrilled to have Amanda join the Ausure team. Ausure have worked with Amanda closely over many years in her previous roles, and she has always been highly regarded by our staff and ARs (authorised representatives)," McCarthy said.

Theodosiou's responsibilities in her new role include supporting, training, and mentoring AR broking staff across Ausure. She will play a crucial role in training new personnel both at AR brokerages and at the head office, focusing on Ausure's systems and the Insight broking platform.

McCarthy emphasized the strategic importance of Theodosiou's appointment, foreseeing significant benefits for Ausure as a whole.

"This is a huge addition for Ausure. Most of our brokers will know Amanda and have worked with her in some capacity from her previous roles. Having Amanda’s expertise at Ausure will provide a huge benefit to the group, particularly when it comes to learning from her decades of experience working with leading insurers and being able to share ways to achieve better outcomes for clients when liaising with insurers," he noted.

Theodosiou, who commenced her tenure at Ausure’s Brisbane head office, expressed her alignment with Ausure's values and mission. "‘At Ausure …. We Care.’ Ausure prides themselves on their highly professional service to their clients by ensuring every adviser is highly skilled and provides good old fashioned personalised ‘service.’ This resonated with me which is where I saw that I could add value to the national Learning and development manager role. My insurance career has afforded me with a varied skill set that I can now give back to Ausure in providing support and structure to ensure that we excel with service, expertise and personal professional goals, today, and into the future," Theodosiou commented.

"As mentioned by Scott McCarthy, in previous roles in the insurance industry, I have worked closely with Ausure head office, various staff and ARs, and I am very much looking forward to reconnecting and working closely with everyone."

The appointment of Amanda Theodosiou comes at a pivotal moment for Ausure, following the firm’s recent expansion initiatives, including Ausure Insurance Newcastle’s partnership with Newcastle Insurance Group aimed at enhancing SME industry support through Ausure’s extensive resources and backing.

As Amanda Theodosiou assumes her new role, Ausure looks forward to leveraging her expertise to further enhance training and development initiatives, ensuring continued excellence and growth within the organization.
