Today hybrid is a philosophy: Siemens India’s Shilpa Kabra Maheshwari
Wellness and flexibility are the two most important factors across the global workforce today. While the pandemic seemed to be a disruption at the early stage, it unboxed a new era of work titled ‘hybrid’. Though with the advent of technology, remote working had been existing across some companies worldwide. However, the disruption pushed it to the forefront of the future of work.
With such changes, needs to change the leadership style have been realised. Commenting further on this, Shilpa said, “There is a new meaning to wellbeing, there's a new meaning to work life balance, there's a new meaning to what you really want out of your life.” The hybrid work culture has given a new direction to employee management and leadership.
Shilpa further added that she is “personally in favor of the concept of hybrid work, but I think it has to be established and embedded within the DNA of the organization in the right intent of values so that organization belongingness and shared values and culture continues to remain sustainable.”
