Salesforce & its partners can create 26,000 jobs in New Zealand

A study by IDC revealed that Salesforce and its partners in New Zealand will be able to create 26,000 job positions and generate NZ $9.7 Bn in revenues by 2026.

As working remotely becomes increasingly common, advanced digital processes and technologies are imperative to support the change. In the remote-first world of work the demand for solutions like Salesforce increases. But to stay ahead of the curve and deliver consistent services, the company and its partners must focus on product innovation. Hence, almost a quarter of the new jobs created in the salesforce customer base this year deals with digital skills, such as automation tools, the Internet of Things (IoT) and other complex applications.

Further, Salesforce looks ahead towards more business growth and is set to generate NZ$1.6 Bn of revenue this year, expected to double in the future. Salesforce cloud services to NZ consumers are five times the size of Salesforce local reach and this too is being touted to increase by 2026.

According to Tara Ridley, Vice President, Alliances and Channels, Salesforce Australia & New Zealand: “Our partners are critical to making customer success possible in New Zealand. They extend the power of Salesforce to companies of all sizes and across industries. As Salesforce grows, so do our partners- and we are committed to providing our trailblazers in the ecosystem with the tools needed to succeed in the careers of today and tomorrow.”
