Tom Hasker appointed Australia CEO of SNC-Lavalin

Global professional services and project management company SNC-Lavalin has appointed Tom Hasker as its Chief Executive Officer of Australia and New Zealand, a newly created position. Hasker has been brought in by SNC-Lavalin to expand the company's stronghold in the Asia- Pacific region. He was previously the Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region, but moved briefly to UAE-based I.T. firm Keross LLC in 2020.

Hasker has a wide range of experience of over 24 years in consultancy services across various spectrums like master planning, design, project and program management and advisory services. Before rejoining SNC-Lavalin, he was the CEO of Keross LLC. Hasker has also held prime positions in a number of senior management roles in the Middle East.

Hasker's appointment comes in the wake of SNC-Lavalin being one of the critical stakeholders in delivering the Western Sydney airport project. Steve Morriss, SNC-Lavalin President for Asia Pacific and Middle East, said that Hasker’s inclusion will build on the company's momentum in Australia. "Local and global talent will benefit from his leadership as we continue to deliver critical infrastructure projects that will help drive the post-pandemic economic recovery," Morriss said.

Hasker stated that he is looking forward to working with the team and working with the clients to build a healthy pipeline of infrastructure work across numerous sectors.
