Rackspace Technology onboards Angeline Maronese as Managing Director of Australia and NZ

Cloud computing services pioneer Rackspace Technology has appointed Angeline Maronese as the Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand to strengthen its executive team, effective 3 August 2021. In the new position, she will be entrusted with further cementing Rackspace Technology as the partner of choice for multi-cloud services and emerging technology models. Creating a great workplace for the attraction and development of the best talents of the ICT industry will also be her prerogative. 

Prior to this, Maronese acted as the Director of Sales for Australia and New Zealand at Rackspace Technology. She has been associated with the company since late 2020 and made a mark with her extensive experience of more than 20 years in enterprise IT services. She has held prime positions at Accenture, DXC Technology, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in various sales, accounts management, consulting, and delivery roles.

Maronese is looking forward to building strong foundations and leading a high caliber team to deliver effective results. She will help Rackspace customers and partners on their digital transformation journey. She will also play an instrumental role in accelerating cloud value and consolidating Rackspace’s commanding position as the best partner in the market.  The idea is to ensure profit-worthy cloud investments.

She will be succeeding Sean Girvin who will take on the role of SVP Acquisition Americas, and Managing Director, Canada, and be promoted to Rackspace Technology’s head office in San Antonio, Texas. He is elated to march towards a new career milestone and pass the baton to Maronese. 

Sandeep Bhargava, Managing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan at Rackspace Technology, has expressed complete faith in Maronese’s capabilities and believes that she will be incredible in leading the teams across Australia and New Zealand.
