Jonathan Drake hired as Chief Financial Officer: Complexica

Complexica, an artificial intelligence software provider for supply and demand optimisation, this week announced the appointment of Jonathan Drake as the Chief Financial Officer. A software M&A veteran, Jonathan Drake will provide commercial leadership as well as maintain and balance Complexica's growth trajectory. Drake is further entrusted to boost the functioning of the company and gearing up for listing on the ASX.

Welcoming Jonathan Drake to the role of Chief Financial Officer, Matt Michalewicz, Managing Director of Complexica said, "As Complexica accelerates its expansion plans… We are strengthening our management team by adding world-class talent to help  the business achieve its objectives. His contribution will be invaluable, and I personally look forward to working with him to accelerate the company's growth and market position".

Drake formerly worked at Constellation Software, Inc for a term of 14 years, wherein he served under various profiles including Regional Manager for Australia, Chief Operating Officer, Company Secretary and lastly as a Chief Financial Officer and general counsel for the Constellation's Australian oil & gas software provider Petrosys. Drake, while working at Constellation gained experience under a number of managerial as well as leadership roles and worked for diverse segments, including customer and business operations, acquisition, incorporation or amalgamation and development strategy for enhancement of software and AI business across countries in Asia-Pacific, the US and UK. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Law and Computer Science from University of Adelaide and Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Regarding his appointment, Drake said, "I am truly excited by the prospect of supporting Complexica on its path to becoming one of the most iconic, lasting, Australian public companies in the technology space".
