Chef Saransh Goila's recipe for post-pandemic hospitality workforce management

From exploring local delicacies of India to judging Masterchef Australia, Chef Saransh Goila has left an impression on the hearts of many foodies.  

He hosted several television shows on food and travelling. Now, owns the franchise of the restaurant 'Goila Butter Chicken'. Other than all these, he is also associated with OneRare, which is a platform to celebrate Food from all corners of the world, while using the game format to teach new users about the blockchain in an engrossing way

Talking about the current hiring graph of the F&B and hospitality industry Chef said, “We are currently running 100% capacity, whether it's restaurants or hotels. People are looking to hire as many human resources as it's practically possible to do quick recovery in their businesses. So I think people who ran out of jobs will find work again in the industry.”

Chef noted that till the onset of the pandemic, the corporate rules and benefits were never applied to this industry and the jobs were thankless to a great extent. But, since the reopening of these businesses after the pandemic protocols were lifted, issues such as mental health, flexibility, well being and so on caught the attention of both employers and employees. 

He added, “People in our industry were earlier only skilled, but now they're skilled and also educated.”
