SAP ANZ appoints Angela Colantuono as President and MD

SAP Company has announced the appointment of Angela Colantuono as president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) operations, with immediate effect.

In her new role, Angela brings over 26 years of experience, including a decade in the technology sector. She will succeed Damien Bueno, who is moving on to take another role focusing on global cloud transformation within the group.

With her expertise in leveraging technology, particularly in HXM, Angela will be responsible for bolstering the company’s presence in the market. She previously held the position of Vice President and Head for SAP SuccessFactors in the ANZ region and Head of SAP SuccessFactors HXM for Asia Pacific and Japan.

Prior to joining SAP, Angela worked with Oracle in the capacity of General Manager Customer Experience/CRM Australia, overseeing Enterprise, Public Sector & Mid Market accounts for over 16 years.

Welcoming Angela into her new role, Paul Marriott, President for SAP APJ, said, “Australia and New Zealand is a key market unit for the APJ region, as one of the fastest-growing regions globally for SAP. Angela added, “As our customers navigate an increasingly complex operating environment with inflation, supply chain challenges, increased cyber threats, and regulation, technology has become critical to helping them respond to and manage this. I look forward to working with our customers to help solve many of these challenges and build operational resilience, leveraging SAP capabilities including Business AI to automate their processes, enhance user experiences, and improve decision-making.”
